Outline

In recent years, there has been an increasing demand to use Japanese music (domestic songs) in overseas audiovisual productions such as films, TV shows, commercials, games, and streaming platforms. However, Japanese businesses often face uncertainties and challenges when navigating this area. To address this issue, the Music Publishers Association Japan (MPAJ) invited Tomo Suzuki, the CEO and music producer of "DearBrand Production," a music production and library based in Los Angeles, as a speaker. Together with practical professionals responsible for the licensing of original recordings and music publishing (synchronization) at Japanese music publishing companies, they will discuss this theme, providing specific examples, and explore the keys to success.
