Business seminars will be held in a webinar format with domestic and international speakers, extracting hot topics in the music industry in Japan and foreign countries, such as the latest global business trends and short video marketing.
TIMM Showcase Live has always been well received as a place to present live performances of artists who are looking to expand overseas to international buyers, curators and other people involved in the music industry. It will be streamed free of charge to the world on " TIMM ONLINE " and JMCE's official YouTube channel, and not only music industry people who participate in TIMM , but also music fans all over the world can enjoy the showcase live.
Those who are permitted to visit to the venue of 19th TIMM ‘Shibuya STREAM Hall’ where will be held for business seminars and showcase live is limited to exhibitors, international buyers of 19thTIMM, but " TIMM ONLINE " is always open to register as international buyer for free, and is able to watch business seminars and showcase live, including during the archive period.
In addition, the outline to be announced today will be the first announcement, and the outline of all the business seminars and the timetable of the showcase live will be announced on the TIMM official website next week.

This panel, delivered from Los Angeles, will focus on tips to synch local Japanese music in foreign films/games etc, with advise from an award winning music supervisor Season Kent, with examples from her recent music supervision of "Bullet Train" starring Brad Pitt, and LA based music producer/music director/music executive Koyo Sonae.

Season Kent is an award-winning music supervisor who helps storytellers convey emotion to audiences through song. Whether it’s Billie Eilish & Khalid for 13 Reasons Why, Normani for Love Simon, Charli XCX for The Fault in Our Stars, or Doja Cat for Birds of Prey, Season’s impeccable taste has helped her soundtracks go platinum and earn Grammy nominations. Through her 15 years as a music supervisor on 50 film and television projects, she has contributed to a range of projects from the Academy Award-winning drama, The Fighter, to Fox’s critically acclaimed The Hate U Give, to the party-starting Magic Mike XXL. Season has leant her skills to a full range of comic book adaptations, including Marvel’s Luke Cage, DC’s The Flash and Shazam! and the ever-popular The Walking Dead franchise. Her recent credits include Netflix’s hit series Sweet Tooth and Sony Picture's Global smash Hit 'Bullet Train' starring Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock. Her work has been recognized twice by her peers at the Guild of Music Supervisor Awards earning trophies for The Fault in Our Stars and 13 Reasons Why.

Koyo Sonae is an agent at Soundtrack Music Associates, which represents award-winning composers, music supervisors and music editors for film, television and all media. He also produces music for many projects in Japan and China. His credits include the highly anticipated video game "Street Fighter 6”, NHK Taiga Drama “Kirin Ga Kuru” and “KINGSGLAIVE FINAL FANTASY XV”.

Social emergencies such as the global spread of COVID-19 and energy shortages due to the Ukraine problem continue to bring about major changes in the music industry. Festivals and concerts, which can be said to be the most important in the entertainment business, are inevitably transformed in line with the times, but the nature of these transformations varies depending on the circumstances of each market. In this seminar, representatives from several countries will talk about the current status and prospects of music events in their respective countries.

Tokyo International Music Market is an event where people involved in the music industry from Japan and foreign countries gather together for the purpose of promoting Japanese music global. After taking COVID-19 measures, the offline event at Shibuya STREAM Hall will be held for the first time in three years, and at the same time, in order to support domestic and foreign industry business people who cannot come to Tokyo during the exhibition, the online business matching website “TIMM ONLINE” will be launched. It will be held in the first hybrid format of T IMM , which is a fusion .
